Moonshine hits the stage for a rare performance open to the public on Wednesday, 25 February 2026 at 8pm with a high-energy show celebrating vintage swing, jazz and early rock ’n roll.

In a world of sequencers and DJs, Moonshine is a rare, polished band with a fully organic sound, led by saxophonist Dan Shout and featuring some of Cape Town’s hottest session musicians: Amy Campbell (vocals), Andrew Ford (keys), Sibusiso Matsimela (double bass) and Langa Dubazana (drums).

The journey moves from the Roaring ’20s and swing era through early rock ’n roll, Motown classics and modern hits reimagined with a vintage twist. Think Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Sinatra, Ray Charles and more!
