Voces Cordis – ‘Voices of the Heart’ returns to the Endler Hall stage for an evening of choral music shaped by depth, connection, and shared history guided by the musical vision of André van der Merwe. Born from a simple conversation and a long-held dream, this adult ensemble brings together voices that have journeyed together before – from Pro Cantu Youth Choir, Stellenberg Girls’ Choir, and the Stellenbosch University Choir alongside new voices from across the country.

What began as a reunion has grown into something beautifully distinctive: a choir where experience meets fresh energy, and where each chorister connects personally with the music, singing not only with precision, but from the heart. Following their 2025 win of the Best Classical Music (Vocal) Award at the Toyota US Woordfees, the choir continues to celebrate new milestones — including the recent release of their full 2025 repertoire on YouTube.
