The Cape Town Concert Series presents a season of concerts focused around it’s Steinway Grand Piano - which turns 65 this year and is considered one of the finest recital pianos in the country.

The first season concludes with a festive afternoon soiree celebrating Mozart’s 270th year. Charl du Plessis and his Trio, joined by the Cape Town Festival Orchestra under Richard Cock, present Mozart, Mambo and Merlot—a crossover program featuring Charl’s unique jazz-infused arrangements.
These include The Magic Flute, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Rondo alla Turca, Symphony Nr. 40 and many more.

The Concert Starts at 3pm in the Baxter Concert Hall. The Baxter restaurant and bar are open before and after the concert and you are welcome to take your drinks into the hall to enjoy with the music.
