Konsert van hoop open die Suidoosterfees se 23ste jaar met ’n luisterryke, jubelende musiekfees propvol populêre en klassieke werke. Die Kaapstadse Filharmoniese Jeugorkes, onder leiding van dirigent Liam Burden, deel die Operahuis-verhoog met die goue stemme van jong gaskunstenaars, sterre van die Kaapstad Opera se Jeugkunstenaarsprogram, die energieke Jan van Riebeeck Senior Koor en uitblinkers van die Nasionale Jeugmusiekstigting. Professionele dansers van Figure of 8 en Dance for All voeg ekstra glans en ritme by. Konsert van hoop opens the 23rd Suidoosterfees with a rich, jubilant musical celebration packed with popular favourites and classical highlights. The Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, under the baton of Liam Burden, shares the Opera House stage with the golden voices of young guest artists, rising stars from Cape Town Opera’s Youth Artists Programme, the energetic Jan van Riebeeck Senior Choir, and standout performers from the National Youth Music Foundation. Professional dancers from Figure of 8 and Dance for All add extra sparkle and rhythm. Expect iconic hits, classical showpieces and a message of hope that celebrates our people and our city – a festive opening brimming with talent, inspiration and pride.
