The 2026 Marimba World Championships brings 130 bands and 1,500 young musicians to St Cyprian's School, Cape Town for an unforgettable weekend of music, friendly competition and the joy only marimba can bring. Prelims run across two venues on Saturday 15 August with audiences moving freely between them, before Sunday's prelims build to the Finale Showcase where champions are crowned.
