031 Theatre Festival Returns to Durban with a Bold, Diverse Line-Up This June
Durban, South Africa – The much-anticipated 031 Theatre Festival is set to return to the Seabrooke's Theatre at DHS from 4–14 June 2026, bringing an exciting and eclectic programme of performances from across the country.
This year’s festival promises a vibrant celebration of South African theatre, featuring a dynamic mix of comedy, drama, music, and solo performance.
Beyond the stage, festival goers can enjoy a lively atmosphere with a restaurant, full bar, refreshments, and a curated mini festival market, making the 031 Theatre Festival a full cultural outing for all.

At the heart of the festival is the flagship one-woman production, Cottonwool Kid, created by Toni Morkel and Sylvaine Strike, performed by Morkel and directed by Strike. This powerful piece anchors a programme rich in bold storytelling and exceptional talent.
