Dit is ’n intieme gesprek met God oor ouerskap en die liggaam waar rou, reis en verbeelding mekaar vashou.
Ouma slaan ’n ses hemel toe is a poetic lament of grief about miscarriage, fertility, faith and loss. Through metaphors drawn from numbers, politics, family and food, the work brings guilt, love and what might have been into clear focus. It is an intimate conversation with God about parenthood and the body, where mourning, journey and imagination hold one another.
