’n Direkteur van ’n dieretuin plaas sy eie ambisies bo die welsyn van sy diere wanneer hy ’n vals olifant van rubber skep om geld te spaar. ’n Swaan word weens openbare dronkenskap afgedank uit sy pos by die munisipale park. ’n Leeu weier om die Christene in die arena te eet – nie omdat hy vir hulle omgee nie, maar omdat hy vermoed hulle gaan binnekort aan bewind wees. ’n Wêreld van absurde burokrasie, arrogansie en die komiese nagevolge van misplaaste besluite.

A zoo director puts his own ambitions above the well-being of his animals when he creates a fake rubber elephant to save money. A swan is dismissed from his position at the municipal park for public drunkenness. A lion refuses to eat the Christians in the arena – not because he cares for them, but because he suspects they’ll soon be in charge of the state. A world of absurd bureaucracy, arrogance and the comic consequences of misguided decisions.
