Franna se stryd met alkohol kos hom sy werk, terwyl Lizzie teen wil en dank, en op haar eie, die uitdagings om te kan oorleef moet aanpak. After the death of their only child, Lizzie and Franna struggle to find their way back to each other. Instead of healing and becoming whole, they sink deeper into sorrow, loss and abuse. Franna’s battle with alcohol costs him his job, while Lizzie is forced to face the challenges of survival on her own. Conflict becomes the spark that tears open old wounds and raises a burning question: Who am I without my child and without the person I love?
