The Riot when a student protest at DAFA University spirals into violence, activist Refilwe Dube is murdered in the chaos. Three of her closest friends, Hlukanisa, Samantha, and AJ—are hauled into Brick-Stone Police Station as the prime suspects, where their once-solid bond crumbles under relentless interrogation.

Inside the station, corrupt officials scramble to conceal their own complicity, while the Seven Deadly Sins materialise as symbolic forces, twisting truth, ambition, and fear. What begins as a demand for justice becomes a desperate struggle for survival, exposing how easily revolution can be hijacked by the very corruption it seeks to destroy. The Riot asks: When a system is rotten to its core, who must be sacrificed to keep power intact?
