Gerhard Joubert, SA College of Music graduate as a student of François du Toit, makes a welcome return from his studies in Europe to his home country to perform in this memorial concert; Finnish conductor Pietari Inkinen is acclaimed for both opera and symphonic repertoire and is considered to be of the foremost conductors of his generation.
