When Big Amma takes charge of her granddaughter’s wedding, she has one simple plan: everything must be done her way. Unfortunately, the other family has a plan of its own, and neither side is willing to surrender an inch.

A wedding meeting soon becomes a battle over traditions, budgets and, above all, the menu. One family wants bread. The other insists on porridge. Nobody quite knows how breakfast became the most important decision of the wedding, but everyone has an opinion!

As gossip travels faster than the invitations, harmless comments turn into family crises and every relative appoints themselves a wedding expert. Through all the arguments, the bride and groom are still hoping for a beautiful day. Somehow, these two families must find a way to sit at the same table.

The production holds a special place in Melanie Kisten’s heart as she celebrates 30 years in the entertainment industry. Three decades of MKDA students return to the stage for this milestone, alongside dazzling performances by Entertainment Spectacular and Vande Mataram.
