For the first time, experience Quloob Un Nur bringing the beauty of nasheed and Islamic devotional music to one of Cape Town’s iconic stages.

Awaiting the Crescent is an evening of heritage, faith, storytelling and spiritual anticipation — celebrating the journey of Cape Town’s Muslim community, from its early beginnings through generations of perseverance, to the vibrant community we know today.

Come together with family and friends to praise Allah, send salawat upon His beloved Messenger ﷺ, celebrate our heritage, and prepare our hearts for Ramadaan.

With Junaid Benjamin as host and narrator, this promises to be an unforgettable evening of nasheed, reflection and community.

Come for the story.
Come for the nasheed.
Come for the love of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
Leave ready for Ramadaan.

Awaiting The Crescent 🌙
3 nights. One community. One beautiful anticipation.
