FEDA KZN Festival announces an exciting, new, Hilton Arts Festival Partnership. After 25 successful years of celebrating young theatre-makers in Johannesburg, the FEDA Play Festival is thrilled to launch its first-ever festival in KwaZulu-Natal.
The festival aims to give young people a powerful platform to create, perform, and share their own stories.
FEDA believes that the future of South African theatre lies in the imagination, courage, and creativity of young artists. The winning production, selected at the FEDA KZN Finals on 25 July 2026, will be invited to perform at the Hilton Arts Festival, giving young performers the opportunity to showcase their work on one of South Africa’s most respected arts stages.
