The Mandela Bay Jazz Legacy Festival (29–30 May 2026) is a two-day celebration of jazz, heritage, and musical excellence at the Corner Kani-Ntshona Theatres Centre. Presented by the Mandela Bay Theatre Complex, it honors jazz’s rich legacy while spotlighting new talent. Day 1 features the University Jazz Schools Concert with ensembles from NMU, Wits, and UKZN, showcasing fresh student innovation. Day 2 offers a full concert: the SANJO Octet led by Phumlani Mtiti, a soulful set by Nomfundo Xaluva, and a special Feya Faku Tribute by an all-star ensemble. A vibrant, world-class event for jazz lovers and cultural enthusiasts.
