The Soweto Mathematics Olympiad is a regional mathematics competition for high school learners from grade 10 to 12. The aim of the competition is to encourage learners to develop problem-solving skills and love for mathematics. It provides a platform for young talent to be identified, nurtured and challenged, preparing future leaders in STEM fields. By promoting healthy competition and teamwork, the Olympiad aims to raise mathematics standards and awareness in Soweto. The competition will consist of two rounds.
