A storytelling of the life of Elvis Presley, celebrating his most famous tracks with dancers from Mzansi Ballet and singers Frederick Fourie and Patience Mahema. Mixing ballet and rock and roll, the ballet examines the complexities of Presley’s personal life, drawing on his military service, as reflected in the title Private Presley, and on his close relationships, particularly with the women who profoundly shaped his life and music.
