The, Dr Mbongeni Ngema ‘this is my story’ documentary is a self narrated story by South African playwright, lyricist, composer, director choreographer and producer Dr Ngema. The documentary tells his life story from humble beginnings in his early days in deep rural Zululand as a herd boy, to becoming auguably one of the greatest African stories tellers of our time. Dr Ngema takes us through his roller coaster journey on creating international acclaimed stage works like Woza Ablert, Tony Award nominated play Asinamali, Sarafina and international hit song Stimela Sase Zola. Dr Ngema was never one without drama, he tells it all as it is.
