“The Pride of Una” is a story born out of imagination, courage, and the belief that all child’s unique abilities are a source of strength. Nama and Nebo’s journey is not just a quest for a hidden treasure — it is a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and the beauty of diversity. Through this production, we aim to create a theatre experience that is inclusive, educational, and magical.

Nama communicates through sign language, Nebo connects through imagination, and together they remind us that communication, empathy, and bravery take many forms. We invite audiences to journey with these siblings through jungles, asteroid fields, and encounters with both wild and wise creatures. Along the way, we hope children and adults alike will be inspired to explore, to solve problems, and to see the world with curiosity and wonder.
At its heart, The Pride of Una is a story about heritage, family, and the power of believing in oneself — and we are thrilled to share this adventure with you at the State Theatre.
