BreakOut Events is proud to present legendary British synth-pop pioneers The Human League, with special guests electronic icons Blancmange, live for one night in Cape Town.

Few bands have shaped modern pop music like The Human League. Formed in Sheffield, England, the group became one of the most influential acts of the 1980s synth-pop movement, blending futuristic electronic sounds with sharp pop songwriting and a striking visual identity.
The Human League's 1981 album Dare became a global phenomenon and remains one of the most influential records of the decade, spawning timeless hits such as “Don’t You Want Me”, “Love Action (I Believe in Love)”, and “Open Your Heart.” “Don’t You Want Me” reached No.1 in both the UK and the US, becoming one of the best-selling singles of all time.

Joining them are fellow UK electronic icons Blancmange, best known for their distinctive blend of synth-pop, new wave, and global influences. Rising to prominence in the 1980s, Blancmange delivered a string of classic hits including “Living on the Ceiling,” “Blind Vision,” “Don’t Tell Me”, and “Waves.”
