From the Unborn Musical to Battling with Myself, Buntu Jobela returns with Sonelisiwe Maleki, Babalwa Potelwa, Sinesipho Sophino, Sisipho Mponzo and Anathi Tshikila for yet another compelling theatrical experience. This contemporary rap (Rhythm & Poetry) production, Ngqondo Qina Bopha, is set to premiere in April 2025 at the Artscape Theatre. Step into the realm of the mind Buntu portrays himself,  in a conflict between his thoughts and emotions. Sonelisiwe serves as the voice of reason (a beacon of hope and clarity), whereas Babalwa personifies the dark, rebellious heart, propelled by impulse.
Sinesipho Plays the role of Buntu’s lover, whose actions thrust him into a chaotic, shadowy state. Anathi and Sisipho infuse vibrancy into the narrative through contemporary movement. Together, the ensemble mirrors the universal struggle between light and darkness in all of us. However, this exploration of internal conflict resonates deeply, as it reveals both the fragility and strength of the human spirit.
