After two sold out performances last year in February, ‘SO AMAZING’ returns on 14 & 15 February 2025 at the Joburg Theatre. The show got audiences singing along to every song and left them asking for more. Joel Zuma and his band present two memorable nights of great music celebrating love at the prestigious Joburg Theatre.
‘SO AMAZING’ is a live show that pays tribute to Luther Vandross’s catalogue of R&B hits from the 80’s to date. The show is named after his 1986 popular ballad ‘SO AMAZING’ which entered the top 40 on the UK Singles Chart and earned a nomination for Best R&B Soul Single at the Soul Train Awards.
Joel Zuma is a well-seasoned performer who has shared stages with the late Hugh Masekela, Lira, Thandiswa Mazwai, Ladysmith Black Mambazo among other icons. The crooner promises a romantic evening of love songs and pop hits from Luther Vandross’s extensive catalogue of evergreen classics. These hits include: ‘So Amazing’, ‘Here and Now’, ‘Power or Love’, ‘Always and Forever’, ‘Dance with my father’ and more. The presentation includes duets with surprise guests. The show is tailor made for everybody that loves good music: couples, friends, singles and music lovers at large who want a night of good music.’’ says Joel.
