A mysterious girl. A jealous sweetheart. An eccentric toymaker. And a doll who may just come to life…

Carstens Ireland Ballet School proudly presents Coppélia, featuring professional guest artists Nigel Hannah, Mahlatse Sachane and Mejica Ariel.

When Franz falls under the spell of the beautiful and mysterious Coppélia, his spirited fiancée Swanhilda decides to uncover the truth for herself. What follows is a whirlwind of mischief, mistaken identities, daring disguises and theatrical magic as Swanhilda turns Dr. Coppelius’ elaborate trick spectacularly on its head.

Filled with humour, romance and joyous dancing, Coppélia is classical ballet at its most playful.
Join our talented young dancers as they bring this much-loved story to life — and discover what happens when the trickster becomes the tricked.
