Pieter Toerien with Cape Town Opera presents the world's most loved musical - Lerner and Loewe musical theatre masterpiece, My Fair Lady.
Age Restriction-No Children under 3. No babies in arms permitted and patrons bringing in babies will be asked to leave
Doors Open-The Teatro foyer is open one hour before starting times. Doors open to the auditorium approximately half an hour before the performance.
Prohibited-Drugs, use of e-cigarettes, weapons, recording equipment, own alcohol and snack/food items.
Refreshments, Bars and Coffee bars situated in lower and upper foyers. Snack, confectionery and light beverage stands also available.
Parking - R20 upon entry for General Visitors and R10 if you are a Montecasino Rewards Card Holder
Disabled Facilities-Lifts are available from all parking areas and there is one lift in the venue, located on the right hand side of the foyer.
Please note that the Teatro Balcony seating is NOT wheelchair accessible nor is it recommended for anyone elderly and/or infirm or anyone with walking difficulties.
The following seats are available for wheelchairs and can be booked through The Pieter Toerien Theatre Office on Tel: 011 511 1988 (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, Sat 1pm-9pm and Sun 1pm-4pm)
These are seats ZB8-11 and ZB41-44. Should a patron's mobility permit them being able to transfer from the wheelchair into an aisle seat then bookings can be made online for aisle seats in the Stalls between Rows B to P as these are accessible to wheelchairs as there are no stairs in this area. The Ushers will then store the wheelchair for the duration of the performance.
For Hearing Impaired Patrons:
Book in rows Y to ZE where hearing aids can receive a wireless amplification via the Oticon Loop System
All Boxes are RESTRICTED VIEW and have movable seats.
Important Venue Information- Children are not permitted to sit on laps and must remain in their own seat for the duration of the performance. Accompanying adults will be asked to remove any noisy children.
